Problem solving occurs when an organism or artificial intelligence system needs to move from a given state to a desired goal state.
Most of our work was created for us unique rare individuals.
Before we begin, we would just like to let you know that our software, will not ‘push’ your graphic, memory, or sound cards. (It was never our intention to dazzle you)
It WAS our intention, however, to present you 'thinking people' with new unique puzzles to solve. We did our best to keep everything as simple as possible but, at the same time, as rock solid as possible based on the Windows architecture.
You can easily minimize our software while you use your machine for other things.

A Freeware tile puzzle played on a 7 x 7 grid. All you have to do is to arrange the tiles to make a trail of the same color tiles from the Start to the End.(Not a Slider) You can't even rotate them! Just move them to the correct square to make a Trail. Sounds easy doesn't it? Daves Trails was optimized for WinXP with a resolution of 1024 x 768 and above but should work just fine as low as 800 x 600. Daves Trails runs in its own window which is scalable and you can even Minimize it so that you can do other things. (In other words, it won't Take Over your computer) Don't you wish all software was written this way? Download it and give it a try, you have nothing to lose because it comes with it's own uninstaller which will Completely Remove ALL files and leave your computer EXACTLY the way it was. Jills Trails is actually the predecessor of Daves Trails. Some said that it was a little too easy so that is how Daves Trails came into the world.
Jills Trails is a pure puzzle game. It's not a platformer; it's not an arcade game. It is just a puzzle with two like colored squares on a grid that you have to connect together with the same color squares. DAVES LOCKS is another original in our Puzzle Series.
There are 6 tapes of colors next to each other and all you have to do is to match them all up to solve a locked puzzle.
Left or Right Click to rotate each tape is the only controls needed.

There are 5 levels of difficulty and 32 levels of locks. That’s 160 unique puzzles that should satisfy anyone with puzzle solving ability. v.3.21.11 >4mb<
Daves Color Wheels is a puzzle in which you have to turn wheels to make a color from the Start to the Finish. Whatever color you choose to put in the Start Position is the color that has to continue through the End. There is a little twist also. Sometime during the puzzle there will be a worm race. The color of the puzzle you solve will advance the same color worm. The game will tell you what color worm has to win to go to a bonus round (There will be 3 bonus rounds) Can you solve all 3 bonus rounds? We didn't include a save feature on this one. You'll just have to stick with it until you solve all 3 bonus rounds or just keep your computer on. OH, after the 3rd bonus round you may as well just quit because we included enough 'Wheels Puzzles' to last longer than your fingers can click[;-D}
Daves Card Puzzle is just one level and is one tough puzzle. The object is just to get all touching cards to match. That's it! It's only one level so we didn't include a save feature. The puzzle is optimized for a 1024 x 768 display. If this is too large for your settings, we included a version for a 800 x 600 display. (Will use circles instead of cards) You will need all of your concentration for this one. >1.6mb<
Daves Alien Machine is just another in our Puzzle Series. You find this strange looking device that has a few buttons on it. Do you dare push them? Hee, hee...No instructions on this devil. That's part of the puzzle! The puzzle is optimized for a 1024 x 768 display. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose. We included an uninstaller as usual. v.11.30.10a7 >2.9mb<
ORBIK was once a mechanical puzzle invented by Shih-Hung Juang in 1986. Later it was just starting to be distributed by James Dalgety but, due to unforeseen circumstances, it ended. Supposedly there are only about 200 left in the world.
We loved it so much we did our best to convert it for Windows so that you could enjoy it also.
The directions are contained in the puzzle and, because we believe in the K.I.S.S. rule, everything is controlled by a left click. >1.3mb<
Daves Doors is a simple little puzzle that will get progressively harder with each level that is reached. All you have to do is to get the green circle to the red circle through any open door. Daves Reaction Time was just a little program that we wrote to test the reaction times of people after an adult beverage or two. It's not a puzzle, we just included it because of many request.

Daves List is just a simple program that will keep a list of up to 2000 items. Maybe a CD collection, Household items, Names, etc. It will then sort the list into Alphabetical Order. We needed a simple program to accomplish this but the only ones we could find had a ton of bells and whistles that we didn't need. So we wrote this one.
